Molybdenum FluoroMax wax contains the speed additive, fluoro micofibers.
- The molybdenum additive counteracts electrostatic effects that slow you in cold, dry snow and repels dirt in warm snow.
- Molybdenum is better than graphite, and considered as a speed additive as well.
- Use it as a racing wax for new/young racers, as a base wax for an advanced or ultimate series wax, or for non-racers looking for speed.
- One bar of warm FluoroMax wax, 80 grams.
- Buy this and use it as the base coat (first layer) under the advanced or ultimate series wax lines.
Warm wax for use above 25 F (-4 C).
RaceWax fluoro waxes do not "drip" on, they look like a paste when melted.
- Remove the old wax (see Tuning Tips).
- Rub the wax on (like a crayon) quite thick, then iron.
- Cool to room temperature, scrape, brush well.
- The crayon method saves wax because you only add what you need.
- See Tuning Tips from the top menu for more detailed information.
- Use our Wax Wizard to select the right wax for the snow conditions.
- NOTE: A black wax will discolor clear or colored designs in the ski/board base; the discoloration will be reversed when the wax is removed.
