- Remove the old wax (see Tuning Tips).
- H1 waxes will not crayon, instead use the iron to soften it, then crayon. Or, if you have something to grate the wax to a powder, you can apply it that way.
- NOTE: The high temperatures required to iron in a H1 may harm your base. To protect it you can use a piece of fiberlene paper between your iron and the base.
- This wax hardens fast; some prefer to scrape as it hardens but is still warm.
- Scrape, brush well.
- See Tuning Tips from the top menu for more detailed information.
- Use our Wax Wizard to select the right wax for the snow conditions.
