Digital Waxing Iron for Skis and Snowboards made by Wintersteiger

Precise (+/- 2 C) temperature settings with digital control combine with a highly accurate thermostat to ensure a correct, constant temperature.
Ready light shows when iron is ready to use.
Innovative arched heating plate allows the wax to flow over the entire base reducing wax usage and overflow onto the sides of the edges.
110 volts, 800 watts. To operate this iron on 230 volts (Europe or other countries), you will need to use a transformer (not included).
This product is sold as a waxing iron, there is no guarantee that it will work for other applications (e.g., aircraft). Any use of this iron for other (non-ski or non-snowboard) applications is at your risk.

I coach a high school nordic ski team. We have three of these irons. We also have a couple of Toko irons. I will be buying more of the Wintersteigers. The performance and value of these irons can't be beat.
John of Bellevue Great Iron
This iron gets up to temp in about 2-3 minutes and stays VERY close to whatever temp you set it. As is common with many irons (including Toko), the base plate (on mine) was NOT flat (concave -0.006). I filed it flat, and now it is even better.

This iron is great. I have found it fairly accurate with a tight swing cycle. The digital readout is big improvement over the standard dial setting control. The display shows what you set the iron to and then it shows the current temp of the iron so you can see the temp change both when it heats up to temp and during the swing cycle. I am not a huge fan of wintersteiger ...but I am a fan of stuff that works well, and this iron does.
