SKS Base Planer & True Bar

It is a solid tool. The metal piece is heavier than it would seem based in the pictures. The clamp assembly is solid as well. I have used it as a true bar to evaluate the 4 pairs of skis in my family and it has performed well. I have not had the need to use the base planer function as of yet. The nice thing about this tool is that the true bar is removed and reinserted upside down to use the base planer function. No extra parts to get lost or banged up on the work bench.
