| Recently, I ordered a few things from you. The SKS spray wax (in particular) is amazing. I've been using it to protect the skis right after skiing (my son and I were training at Hood),
and compared to people who were not re-sealing right on the hill, my skis suffered much less damage.
|
As the ski season draws to a close, I'd just like to write a quick note to let you know what I think of your
products. As a mainly recreational skier participating in only a couple of 'fun' (until I get to the start gate -
then it gets serious!) races in a season, I was a little sceptical of whether I would benefit from your waxes.
I have used hydrocarbon wax which I bought in bulk from a local ski servicing equipment manufacturer here in
Switzerland several years ago when I started doing my own servicing and I thought that was going to be as
much as I ever needed. I was initially looking at your website for tuning tips and then later for tuning tools.
However, curiosity got the better of me and after reading about your waxes and the testamonials I decided to add
a couple of bars of Graphite FluoroMax wax to the order.
Spending $50 on 200g of wax compared to the $20 for a kilo box of HC wax made me feel like I was maybe being a
little extravagant, but I have to say that the money was well spent. My skis have given me performance like
never before, even though we had poor snow fall and was skiing on lots of artificial snow early to mid season
and then toward the end of the season, lots of heavily groomed old hard snow in the mornings, turning wet by
lunchtime in the spring sunshine.
Now the HC wax is relegated to base cleaning duties and the Racewax is used every time.
The crayon-on method of application means that I use far less wax, scraping is easier and I can services my
skis quicker and the cost per service is not much higher.
Thanks again for producing a great product and offering great customer service....I'll be back for more.

| I have been using your warm and cold hydrocarbon waxes all year and I just want to say that I could not be happier.
Your waxes are durable, fast, and inexpensive; these are my most important considerations when I am buying wax.
|
| My son was consistently in 9th or 10th place until we tried your fluoro wax, no he is on the podium!
|
| From Norway Your Moly Hybrid Wax and your F2 and Nano powder works very good. In Holmenkollen today,
my son had the highest speed. His skating skis works also very good. I tested the Nano powder last week
(dry snow - 6°) and his skiis was among the best.
|
| used a mix of the Green Floruomax and Moly for a base layer, 2 coats T2 for the top layer and a Microfiber overlay.
It was very, very fast...as good a glide as anyone in dirty, ugly sugar snow.
|
| I used your T2wax w/microfiber overlay on properly prepared skis for the first time last
weekend and recorded my fist sub 10 handicap (I'm usually a low 12).
|
| From Canada I bought some wax in the past (T-Series Racing Wax) and they work well. My girl (age 8)
raced last weekend and she placed 5th out of 70.
|
| The all temp fluromax was EXCELLENT. My brother and I each felt superior glide as soon as we stepped-in -- soon found that it was bullet fast on all conditions.
Can't wait to try some of your more advanced formulas. Many thanks for a great product and enhancing our trip.

| 23 degrees in northern michigan and a packed groomed base with a bit of loose snow on top. Humidity rather high for this time of year. HFMF3 or whatever your highest end fluoro is called,
was extremely fast up and down hills, without a base of lesser wax beneath.
|
| I have had good race results with my 11 year old J4 racer using FluoroMax Warm with Fluoro powder overlay. Last March, he got 2nd place in the E. Mass league Championship
race in J5.
|
| sorry it took so long busy as ####.how do you add a feed back comment with out a transaction in progress.anywas the wax worked so good.it pushed my speed barrier,it was so fast!!

My friend and I were both skiing on 170 SuperShapes. His skis were sticking a bit, mine were flying on Moly FluoroMax. We swapped skis and he couldn't believe how much better my skis were on the snow. :::

| Dr. D's waxes were easy to use (easy system), very accurate in temp range/snow type and extremely economical, especially compared to Holmenkol which is top drawer expensive.

Willi Wiltz (wax guru for Tommy Moe)
worked with the lengendary snowboarder Shaun Palmer in his 2006 Olympic bid, here is what Willi wrote about RaceWax:
It seems as though you are on to something!
Tested both the Hybrid and the MicroFiber overlay here in Austria and found they worked extremely well, and went with it in the World Cup.
Shaun Palmer was second and I wanted to let you know that you were a big part of our results.

My daughter sported Racewax.com to Switzerland (she was selected with 24 others to a training Camp in Saas Fe), as well as to Mont Tremblant for a week,
to the NYSSRA Elite Camp in Whiteface, and she did a Flex Term at the SMS Ski Academy and she has already been offered a spot (1 of 15-18)
at an Elite Camp in New Zealand this summer (they will be right in with the World Cup teams). This year (2007) has been skiing incredible! Winning events
by 3, 4 and,even 7 seconds … even over the men!

I had my Thursday night corporate league race last night at
Sno and figured it would be a good chance to try my Dr. D's FluoroMax Cold wax. Temps were around 10 degrees and, obviously, the
course was on cold, dry natural snow. Dr. D's FuoroMax Cold is amazing. I usually run a mid-teens NASTAR handicap at Sno. Last
night, I cut my handicap in half on both runs. And as much as I'd like to take credit for it, I skied exactly the same sort of
line and tactics as the weekend before. The only change was the wax. Sno's course is a pretty good testing ground for these waxes,
since it's long and has two headwalls that flow into long gliding sections.
A good wax makes you go "Wow" as you cross the finish line ... and I said 'wow' twice last night.

H3 or whatever your highest end fluoro is called, was extremely fast up and down hills, without a base of lesser wax beneath.
Do you think that over a 27k race the addition of a fluoro overlayer or addition of a lesser wax under the more expensive one makes a difference?
I can't imagine faster skis than those I had today.

We had our first races of the year last weekend. I was working timing and couldn't wax any skis, but Tyler, Robert and a first year J4 named Owen Braun all used your fluoro waxes.
They all had a good weekend with Tyler beating all the 1 & 2 men on Sunday and finishing 3rd on Saturday. He won J2's both days beating kids by 4 - 6 seconds that typically were
very competitive with him in previous years. Robert walked out of his skis on Sunday and had to hike on Saturday, but he had the fastest time on both runs when he finished clean
including beating Dustin Gibb who has been the J1-2 state champion for 3 years in a row. Owen skied faster than any of his other runs after his skis were waxed on Sunday.
I waxed about 12 team members skis at practice a couple weeks ago, with good feedback. ::: Pennsylvania

| SATURDAY: At the top of the hill it was -30 windchill and actual of 3.
I waxed with a mixture of Molyx2 and t1. I did a lot of work with my board last night, and had it repatterned to a very thin, but not entirely lineal due
to humidity being really high here and they blew snow all week. Used flouro microfiber before each run, was terribly fast. In a total of 3 races, I won each one by 5+ seconds.
SUNDAY: I won gs and slalom by a comined 4 seconds. Also swept boardercross again.
I had thought that earlier was going to be BX, then GS. But they went backwards, so my wax wasn't what I had thought. On my gs board I used mfh3,
with flouro microfiber each run. Was really too cold in the morning for this, but was still very fast. . .It was only about 16.
Then in the afternoon session it was up to about 23, and I had mfx2 on that board. Maybe a touch too hard. . .but again was still really fast, maybe faster than the 3.
Both were scary fast, the flouro microfiber makes it so fast in the starts that after that I already have a lot of momentum. :::
