Ski brake retainer,
- Rubber ring w/ hook for holding ski brake out of the way for edge tuning.
- Works on bindings with lifts and most older bindings.
- Ring is hinged and will flip to the side for easier edge access.
"Why didn't I think of that?" This simple little tool makes it soooo easy to pull back brakes and release them. Way better than rubber bands. Over the weekend I waxed 3 pair of skis using this one tool - on the one hand, using 6 rubber bands on 6 skis would be convenient, but this tool is so easy to pop on/off that I don't think I'll ever use rubber bands again.
Not much to say about this. It's definitely a step up from the standard giant rubber bands both in form and function. The plastic hook with finger loop makes it easy to secure the retainer over the brake leg and remove it when you're done. I've only used it a couple of times, but seems like it's built to last.
This ski brake retainer is much easier to put on and take off than plain rubber bands. It is also stronger and sturdier than a rubber band.
