BEAST Ski Base Bevel Angle Tool:
- 0.5 degrees - Primarily for SL skis or advanced recreational skis for icy conditions.
- 0.75 degrees - Upper level GS or advanced recreational. Also used to "mellow" the bite at tip and tail extremities of 0.5 bevels.
- 1.0 degrees - Fairly universal recreational, low-mid level racing and most speed ski bevels.
- 1.5 degrees - Used to mellow the bite in tip and tail.
- 2.0 degrees - Primarily used by the snowboard crowd and also park skis where they don't want a very sensitive edge.
- Open architecture ski and snowboard base edge bevel tool that accepts files and stones of all thicknesses. Features a "tongue" under the file or stone making it easy to grasp both the bevel tool and the file or stone.
- Use with files or stones at least 4" in length.
- Angled side arms for efficient cutting angle with ergonomic finger rest on side allowing a comfortable grip.
- Stainless elevation bar tilts file or stone at desired angle for easy set-up and maintenance of base edges.

Missing Item and Missing Customer...
One of the items from my order was missing when the shipment arrived. Over 4 straight weekdays, I emailed, called twice, and texted the customer service line looking for help, to no avail. I finally had to email a final time to say I was going to file a dispute with Amazon Pay. Finally got a response saying they would send the missing item. Missing item showed up 11 days after the first shipment. Customer service could have been so much better, don’t plan to shop there again.

Great tool Great...
Was looking for tool that could be easily packed yet did the job. The Base Beast bevel angle guide tool is it. Surprisingly small and yet amazingly easy to use. Coupled with a 400 grit aluminium oxide stone it’s super quick and easy to remove edge dings - anywhere. Get one. You don’t need to use it every day, but when you do you’ll wonder what you did before. And did I mention the guys at Racewax deliver. Quick and easy to order. Fast and speedy delivery. And kept informed every step of the way. Recommended.

Easy to use and works like a charm!
Works great! Easy to use to take any burr off and sharpen race ski base edges. Fits a 100mm length diamond stone with no issues. Looking to buy more soon!
